Roots Manoeuvre

Photo Information
“We are travellers on a cosmic journey, stardust, swirling and dancing in the eddies and whirlpools of Infinity. Life is Eternal. But the expressions of life are ephemeral, momentary, transient...”

(Deepak Chopra)

Autumn leaves swirl on and beneath the surface of slowly swirling eddy currents on the River Aune at Avonwick, in the South Devon AONB.

A blog on the wonders of early autumn explorations of the details of the landscape, which I have recently written is here and will hoepfully be of some interest to landscape photographers

Thanks very much Maria Was rather struck by the quiet charm of this pool and the roots reaching into the river.

Thank you very much Bill Lost count of how many times I have been along the 1/2 mile or so of the river here beside an ancient 'green lane'. Much still to explore along the banks and river features in terms of detail, form and texture.

As well as lovely images, thanks for all the advice in the blog (landscape is my big weakness)

Many Thanks indeed David, glad you found the blog(s) useful I think time spent trying to distil the essence of why some aspect of the landscape appeals is key and in that seeing what can be removed to:

"Make everything as simple as possible, but not simpler." as Albert Einstein put it
