Many thanks Bill It was my first visit to these cascades, I heard their beckoning call as I crossed a clapper bridge 50 metres upstream and was most glad that curiosity got the better of me, whilst half-way round a moorland walk that was taking far longer than estimated!

Many thanks Maria It's a charming stretch of moving water indeed. I hope to go back there again with more time to spare at this spot. It seemed from this spot that there were myriad potentials of consecutive "I'll have a look just round the next bend in the stream too..." opportunities
