The Pals

Taken at Whitehaven Harbour, these guys were up for a little banter with us whilst we were on a club photoshoot.

"Last of the summer wine" comes to mind. I could fit into anyone of their boots. CHEERS Vic.
Born again biker with lots of Pentax bits. Every day I wake up is a good day. I'm so old I don't even buy green bananas.

This is a great shot. Crystal clear. One slight thing that bugs me though is I would like to see a couple of centimetres cropped off the right hand side to make the figures central.
Still, its superb!
Best wishes

Great capture and I like the "Fingers of God" at the right of the frame

My thought exactly Vic.

It is a great shot, full of character...well captured.

Like Ian - I would normally prefer a more balanced crop but on this one - change nothing - the sun rays in the sky to the right are part of what makes it so good.

Great shot - and made me smile - first the image itself and then reading your text.

My wife is originally from Whitehaven - and knowing that area - this probably means there is a very good chance she is related to all of them

Thanks for great comments. I take on board the cropping preferences, I made that choice to give the sun-rays some emphasis.

Great shot - I would leave it as it is. Older faces much more interesting!!!
