Yellow Wagtail

This gorgeous Yellow Wagtail perched obligingly on the metal rails alongside the Chesterfield Canal at Turnerwood for a few fleeting moments. Unfortunately it flew before I could get any closer, so this image is the best I could do in the few seconds it was there. Note, I haven't increased saturation at all on this image, the colours are as they were, lit by warm evening sunlight.

Perhaps as well it did make you snap it quickly. Had you had time you probably wouldn't have got such a nice one !!
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
