Photo Information
Bath Abbey and Pump rooms lit by street lighting. It had just stopped raining, making the stone pavement lovely and glossy.

Nice image, the foreground has some attraction to it with the reflections and pavements leading you into the lighter area in the background. Not to much flare from the lights and the abbey is well lit. Good one and glad to see its already been voted a winner.

Given the (very limited)opportunities to get this shot without any one walking through, this is special.

I'm v curious about what time of night this was taken - shame no EXIF info provided. Perhaps you could enlighten me?

Hi Steve.

It was taken about 7.30pm on a very cold January evening this year.

The evening was very still with no wind and the rain had just stopped. It took me ages to get the frame with no one in it.
It suprised me by the amount of people that kept crossing the frame late in the evening. The shops had closed over 2 hours ago, and the weather wasn't that good.
