Nicely done, lovely and sharp. My preference would have been to use a wider aperture as the angle of the Butterfly doesn't require much depth of field and the background would have blurred out a lot more. This isn't a criticism, just an observation on how I would have seen the shot, I appreciate that many of us would prefer the approach taken by you in this shot

I think I do need to try a larger aperture, it's something I don't stop and think about when taking the shot but it is something I need to think more clearly on. My compositions need a lot more thought. I have a habit of just setting the aperture and leaving it, and rushing the shot. I don't like a completely clean background but a bit more blurring and a hint of the background from dabs of colour would have worked better.
