Love this one David... super layers... have a look at this article if you have a mo... an Italian photographer, Antonio Aleo, extolling the virtues of a telephoto lens in the landscape...

Thanks Bill, I don't claim to be in the same league as Antonio, but I do think in a similar way in terms of preferring a telephoto as I like to isolate parts of a scene and focus in on a specific area of interest in an image. I didn't read the whole article as it requires a subscription, but I do like his images.
