Ha! Can't take the credit I'm afraid... A gent named Alan did them for me... He does a lot of Olympus re-covers but is local to me...

If you want to contact him this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200745512204?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1... is one of his ebay listings...

The MG is actually purple rather than the blue it appears to be...

Alan is trying to source a bright-blue leather to cover my MX with at the moment... and he'll do the seals on that too...

My Honeywell-Pentax Spotmatic is the one I'm not sure about... It's in almost pristine condition already...

Aye... Pentax could've saved a fortune by not commissioning Marc Newson and digitalizing an ME body!

I don't think it's very fair to be desribed as 'wrecking'...

These have been cleaned, serviced and are more importantly used to take pictures

I love the design of Pentax's older SLRs... They're beautiful...
I don't think that taking a non-conformist approach to standard and conformist black leatherette detracts from their physical design, in terms of beauty in any way - If anything I think it makes the classic design features more noticable... An accentuation of beauty...

The Spottie will indeed be re-covered in the near future... Undoubtedly some will love it and some will hate it...

Maybe in pink or lilac... Maybe turquoise...

I think they look superb.

Will be interested to see how the orange holds up to sweaty hands though. I guess there is a reason most cameras have always been black!

Hello DaveHolmes!
I was just wondering where you left recover your cameras, since I'm also a prod owner of a Pentax ME and still using it for some special motives. However the leather (still original state) is starting to remove from the case and I thougth of somehow leaving renew this leader by a specialist... where did you do that?
Anyway; they both look great!
Best regard - Martin Grambone
