Geese in Sunset Sky

Photo Information
We are lucky to live in a beautiful and exotic place. No, not the tropics, we're on the border between Derbyshire and South Yorkshire. We get magnificent sunsets and because we live next to a nature reserve we get lots of wildlife, like these Geese, heading back to the lakes this evening. Shot from our back garden with the K-3 and DA*50-135 lens.

Thank you Malc, I didn't pose them of course, I aimed at a spot where I knew they would pass and took just the one shot as they were travelling so fast I had no time to get any more. I got the timing right I think?

I spend a lot of time in the garden, studying the wildlife that lives there and in the surrounding area. I think this pays off because after a while you learn what is going to happen before it does.

A beautiful shot, don't blame you for being proud and putting it on your wall.
