It's a bird that pops up along our Eastern Coast especially around Norfolk and Suffolk from time to time in winter. Presumably on its way to or from its breeding grounds in the Northern Tundra. It also breeds on mountainous areas of Eastern Europe. These three near Southwold Malcolm.
