Macro experiment

I had my first ever go at macro photography this morning. Used the macro function on my Sigma 70-300mm lens and manual focus. Was a bit murky and windy and I think this is just about the best of the (loads of!) pictures I took. Depth of field is a challenge and could have done with a smaller aperture I think... Great fun though. I expect I'll do plenty more...
