Three Young Swans

Photo Information
Thought I'd upload one from the past. I have uploaded this before, but it's one of my favourite images I've ever taken and I'm feeling a bit nostalgic today (28th Wedding Anniversary).

Taken at Ullswater, early on a very frosty morning (-4 celcius) in September 2012. Camera used was Pentax K-5, I think the lens is probably the Pentax DA 16-45.

I can see why it is a favourite! The mist, reflection - and a very tranquil scene; beautiful!

Superb! That would make a lovely large print.

Liked this muchly first time around. Are you not tempted by a square crop around the swans?

That's well worth being nostalgic about !
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Hi Adrian, no not really, I always liked this one and never thought too much about changing the composition. It was one of those 'right place, right time' images and I'm happy to leave it as is.

Thanks to all for the comments.

Wow. I thought I would add a comment and I find everyone has already said all the good things.

Except this: I am jealous. I would love this capture to be mine.

Such a restful and calming image. It would be appropriate as a large print hanging in a doctor's consulting room to sooth anxious souls.
