A different sort of sunset

by davidwozhere

The sun was all but set this evening when it became covered with murky clouds and fortunately for me I was outside with my nice new (quite old) Pentacon 200mm. This is the best of 4 taken one after the other at ever reducing values of -EV to cut the glare.

I quite like it...just a shame that you have got the straight edge from the house roof so prominent in bottom right of image.

I have to disagree with you there the thing is if you move from where you was you have lost what you are seeing with your eyes and with weather you cant say do that again please

This is really good, the roofline doesn't bother me but I would crop some off the bottom and make it more of a letterbox format.

The big sprig of stuff on the left bothered me more than the roof line but I took the same view as Stu that it would be gone in two minutes and I wasn't in control of it. The vertical pole going through the tree doesn't help it either. I tried it more 'letterbox shaped David and it does look better - thank you.

I wonder how the four shots would look fused?

Awful I suspect. They are hand held from slightly different vantages and 'grabbed on the run'. All clicked from the same tripod position would have been a different matter.
