Thank you very much Bill I was out there running a 1-to-1 workshop and was asked to make a demonstration photo at this point to show how I would interpret this place, light and time... I simply couldn't refuse the offer (I always wait to be asked to make any photos - as I want the day to be about helping the student(s) make meaningful photos).

The gentle sweep of the river valley floor, the plateau, curves, textures and forms, punctuated by hardy hawthorn trees, the golden grasses, raking shadows all playing their parts. Quietude, vast humbling space, wildness, sublime light... there is treasure in those hills.
