Rock formation

by sandinista

This is from way back in August last year, I had meant to upload it but never got round to putting it in my portfolio. I converted it with a trial version of Silver Efix Pro, never got around to buying the full version. Taken at Stanage Edge

Brilliant work there Jim !! The PP work has paid off. The clouds are rendered beautifully. The foreground has all the details that a viewer could want to immerse in. Mid ground details are engaging and not overly crowded with distracting objects which draws attention to the hills in the background and the lovely lovely clouds. One little nit if I am forced to pick is the slight halo around the rock formation where it meets the sky. All in all this is an image that one would be proud to print large and display in a fine-art gallery.

I love that slight grainy texture in the cloud it seems to match the grain in the rock and add to the comparison between the rock and the sky.
The tonal range is very pleasing.
Best wishes,

Many thanks for your comments and feedback, much appreciated.

I've noticed the slight halo now you mention it Vijay, must be the result of the processing, but glad it doesn't detract from the image overall.
