Lock Mechanicals, Peak Forest Canal

I've always been intrigued by canal locks. Perhaps it's because it's the real life version of trying to build water systems out of Lego as a kid (which leaks like a sieve...). What stood out in this photo for me was how much deeper the colours (and blacks) are with film as opposed to digital. Love it.
