So many peacock shots show the tail all splayed and the "head end" is somehow lost in the magnificence of the plumage. I liked this one because the plumage is folded and you can actually get a little of the bird's personality coming through.

beautiful and coloured...Before going to sleep you could read an interesting work about"Handicap's principle" by Prof. Zahawi(1974 or around).....It's an interesting work about "different and difficult to understand behaviours in evolution"...and colour of peacocks it is a strange abnormality...."Too much visible means too simple and faster to ambush and to kill by enemies"....but if peacock is not too visible he cannot be recognized by a "girl"....No girls no if he(we)want to survive we "must be visible and threatenable"...sorry for my boring words..I'm sure you are going to have a nice sleep tonight...PS All above goes well for mankind too...and even in social relationships, IMHO!

The colors are Pantone Perfect and the tendrils splits the scene eliminating a possibly boring gray path- exceptional in large. VV special. 11 out of 10 - tg
