That's a different approach!
It is and it isn't - it obeys the dictum in your own signoff piece-- "... must be dared and tried".
If you look at a pansy with the naked eye you can see that something odd is present in the very middle and I wanted to see it more clearly. So I used my macro lens. My eyes are not what they were. I can't read maps very well either (too small) so I photograph them as well in order to make the detail legible.
What I want to know now is what does the pansy DO with those cilia? They are unlikely to be for decoration (and I have never found pollen on them)
