Tangmere at Trent

Photo Information
Another steam tour passed through the East Midlands today.

Ex SR 4-6-2 No.34067 'Tangmere' is shown passing Trent Junction with the return working from Matlock to London Kings Cross.

I really should learn how to clone though, before someone else says it!

You are right of course Larry.

Railway photography is often more reportage than art so I don't have a problem with showing a scene as it is.

Now if I had a subject like the artist Terence Cuneo captured in his railway paintings, I would be more inclined to tweak for artistic effect (I might even photo-shop a mouse into every picture).

I wish the Bulleid Pacifics came this far north Peter, I would like to see one in Newcastle or Durham. I got a shot of Tangmere at Bath a couple of years ago and thought it a very impressive engine. Like your shot of it in action.
To clone or not to clone? I would clone the pylon, many wouldn't.
