SMC Takumar 50mm f1.4 test

by Peter Elgar

Given a second Asahi Pentax Spotmatic F outift with later serial numbers than mine -- teh SMC Takumar 50mm f1.4 does NOT have the 'Radio-Active Yellowing' that my first one had until I left it out in Sunlight. I did a quick FULL APERTURE Test of Wife on Phone with 1/60th -- film was 2001 outdated Fuji Press 800 that I use for testing. Not very 'Sharp' - needs more tests, also 1/1000th shutter runs 'fast' and un-even across frame and battery contact spring broken off -- but I c an use my Weston Masters.
