It would be better if you used a lower 'Definition' value in the PP. The high definition value causes the appearance of the thick green border around the petals.

Your right, Gabor, but the truth is the border is a result of my trying to be too clever with the editing (selecting and editing the flower head and then inverting the selection and editing the background). The 'problem' was that I overdid the feathering of the selection. Although a bit clumsy, to begin with at least, I actually quite liked the effect. However your right, I need to go back to the original and make fewer adjustments or make them more subtle.
