Staithes Sunset

Photo Information
Staithes, North Yorkshire, this evening. My wife Nicola and I sat at the 'Cod & Lobster' pub enjoying a nice meal and a drink whilst the sun went down on a perfect day.

Lovely image, David. Great colours in the sky and reflected in the water. I would be tempted though to crop or clone out the post on the right-hand side - my eye was distracted by it when looking at the large image.

it's a wonderful place beautifully portrayed but how do you see the sunset when looking south-east?

You don't actually see the sunset Paul, but you do see the effects of it in the sky!! Sometimes the best afterglow is in the sky opposite where the sun is setting

Anyway, I can have a bit of artistic licence with the title can't I?

Cheers
David

PS - good local knowledge there Paul
