Birgi Village

Photo Information
Historical Birgi Village of Ödemiş County, Izmir. It is located on the skirt of Bozdağ. It's one of the touristic attractions of Izmir because of retaining the characteristics of the typical old Ottoman Turkish village of the Agean region.

Beautifully framed and exposed so as to retain detail in both the shadow and highlight areas. How hard did you have to work to find such an attractive viewpoint?

Thank you both for the kind and encouraging appreciation. Just the opposite Jon, I was lucky as there was a macadam road uphill and a wall at the left hand side of the brook, so I did not even have to use the tripod and simply placed the camera on top of the wall. Later I cropped the picture to give it a tidy and complete look. The place is a remarkable location and bares many riches for photographers.

This is lovely, your eye is taken from the water uphill to the spire.
