The Walker Organ at Lancing College Chapel
Great shot! Churches and organs make good subjects. Is there any reason why you didn't use Affinity photo for the RAW development, preferring to use DxO Optics instead?
Let me start by saying unequivocally that Affinity Photo is an excellent piece of software. I have given up using Abobe LR and PS in favour of this. For edits, it is very good and, in many areas, more responsive than the Adobe equivalent.
For RAW develkopment, I woudl say that Affinity Photo is close to parity with Adobe Camera Raw. IN my humble opinion, that is good, but nothing earth shattering. I have used Silkypix DS 8 Pro, Adobe Camera RAW, ON1 Photo RAW, Affinity Photo, Capture One Pro and DxO Optics Pro for RAW development. Capture One is good, but I did not find the user interface to my liking. Silkypix is good for the K-1, but it introduces sum curious artefacts. For my money, nothing is able to wring so much out of a RAW file as DxO Optics Pro. I know a lot of these things are a matter of taste, but I have done side-by-side comparisons with difficult images and have always go the best result with DxO, particularlt highlight and shadow recovery. Finally, for high ISO, DxO's noise reduction (PRIME) simply cannot be beaten for results (elimination ofnose with preservation of detail).
Hope this helps, and thanks fo rteh comment.

Thanks for your reply. My LR and PE are getting a little long in the tooth so I've installed Affinity. I like it as it has both the RAW and Photoshop-ish adjustments. The only thing missing (unless I've missed it) that I'd like is a set of thumbnails to show the open files - just having filenames makes it hard to know what's what!
I don't think you missed anything. Maybe this is a feature they might add later?
