Another great shot.
You've really got this macro business sorted. Do you use a hot shoe mounted flash or auxiliary brackets. Looking at the shadows on this one I'm guessing at the former, but I'd be interested to know.And where do you find the subjects, or do they really lie in wait for you?

First of all, thanks for the comments.
Ron I use an old Sunpak mx124 flash mounted on camera hot shoe, Pentax 100mm Macro lens with a 2x converter and handheld the camera most of the time.
Mainly I crawl around the garden looking for my subjects (neighbours thinks I’m loony), but now and again I’m lucky and they find me, like this one. Unfortunately NZ doesn’t have enough spiders and insects to my liking.
