A gigantic orb spider

Sorting through some summer pictures I found this one. Just look at the size of it compared to the wasp it has caught ! This has to be the biggest wild spider I have ever seen.
It was taken with a gigantic lens too - the original Takumar zoom 1:4.5, 70-150mm.This is the first zoom lens Pentax ever made. It weighs a ton. There is also an argument over whether it came with a separate close-up lens. Some contend that this does not exist. It does exist; it packs inside the lid of the carry case and one came with this copy!
