Oldest De Havilland Aircraft Flying
This aircraft was exported to Nairobi in 1926 becoming the first aircraft on the Kenyan Registry ...'Miss Kenya' (VP-KAA).
In 1965 the aircraft was flown back to England in an RAF transport aircraft and ended up at Hawker Siddeley Aviation at Hawarden, Chester where it was re-built before being handed over to the Shuttleworth Trust at Old Warden where it remains today. It is believed to be the oldest De Havilland aircraft still flying anywhere in the world.
In 2011 it was repainted in its current scheme for film and TV work.
