Nice idea and I think you're on the right way to reach the perfect result. But I think that the ratio of the size of lady and the waves aren't perfect, the lady is too small compared to the waves or the riverside.
Sorry for my words.

Don't be sorry. I always float the first prep shots. I also need to work on the fade. Your comments are most appreciated. Many thanks and Happy New Year.

The white gloves are a nice touch. I love these romantic compositions but I think the composition could be more 'composed' considering all the trouble you (both) went to. Not that I can criticise! I would love a picture of you taking this shot. Were you on step ladders? It really would look like something out of Monty Python, I am sure.

Best wishes for the New Year,

Ah, now I think about it and looking at the bubbles I can see it is a composite. Duh! I should have guessed that but I saw your angel after this. This is a more humane way to make the image than some would have done it, the poor model would have been up to her hips in freezing water! Not that I am criticising any technique and have great respect for the courage of photographic models. I admire your image-making and enjoy the final results immensely. What about a Pentax User calendar folks!

Best wishes,

David W
