The oak concerned is one of the most magnificent in the area, having had the place to itself with no competition. Its cousin, in the valley bottom, is a constant reminder for it, however.

That's exactly what I had in mind Maria - and with a field of wheat (or barley?) sown around it there is a lot of promise. I'm glad you all liked it because I walked 3 miles, specifically to get that shot!
