The head tilt looks for all the world like it is engaging with the photographer
Why has it only got 4 legs I wonder?
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

I wondered that about another species, and apparently some varieties stand on 4 legs and hold the other pair up (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nymphalidae)

Thanks for the comments - I hadn't noticed there were only 4 legs on show; I was concentrating on getting the head in focus! Thanks for the info Phil. I have another shot of a different one and that shows only 4 legs as well
