Still experimenting with the new Tamron 70-300 mm. Think I should have had a quicker shutter speed - what do you think?

Nice shot,with this lens,or any other for that matter,when the focal length increases so should your shutter speed.The exif doesn't state your SV so you shot at 240mm therefore the rule of thumb is increase that by roughly one and a half so your shutter speed should be 1/350 or more so with your tamron at full extension ie 300mm shoot at 450 sec.In reality I'll always shoot at least double the focal length of more.You will get darker shots that can be lightened later.Hope this helps.ade

Maybe a higher shutter speed would make the shot sharper, but nice composition and colour.
