What Have They Done To The Old Place?

I have nostalgic memories of the old St. Pancras.

You can see what it was like in the opening titles of the first series of "Porridge" as Fletch was despatched by train to Slade prison.

I wonder what the poet, Sir John Betjeman would have thought?

He was a leading campaigner for the retention of station in the 1960s when British Railways wanted to close it. In 2007 on it's reopening as the Eurostar terminal, a statue of him was erected there.
