I prefer the previous version, Not wanting to take anything away from your wonderful daughter but I'm afraid the "Jean boots" don't do it for me, sorry

A serious fashion misfire this side of the pond, Donna: TWO items of denim worn at the same time! (Well three if you count both feet...)
Another engaging shot. One for the album.
Best wishes,

Andrew

Don't take any notice of the fashionistas! A lovely, really crisp and well lit portrait but maybe if the background was a bit less defined it would really stand out.

ALL comments welcome all the time!

Malc and Andrew...Will remember to dress accordingly if I ever land east of the Atlantic. 😉

Rob and Nigel...thank you! I coordinated her outfit and we both LOVED it. Rob I agree w you on the background, I snapped this ever so quickly on the run and wasn't mindful of all the shot aspects. Was glad it turned out as well as it did. 😎
Cheers...Donna 😊

I like both versions....Many ya('70) that kind of look was named (in Italy) "post atomic"....as to say that after a nuclear weapon explosion it is no longer possible to dress "as usual" but only with "poor and simple clothes"...Other peoples talked about "strass fashion"(but almost in a different way)....Nice to observe that it was very expensive to dress following those rules...."post atomic"!!!!but!!!!!
PS This is not a negative cmt for your photo of daughter...and young peoples can do what they like...They're always nice and beautiful...and "young"!!!

Goulio, thanks for the fashion lesson. I had never heard of these styles before. I looked them up and found them interesting. 😀
Outfit cost us $40...dress new at $15, boots, jacket and purse all bought at thrift store for $20. Headband and jewelry on sale for $5.

I also looked at an article titled, "The 8 Do's and Don'ts of Wearing Denim on Denim"...looks like we broke rule #2. DON’T: Wear denim accessories.
Keep the jeans confined to your clothing and just say no to denim shoes, a denim hat, a denim, handbag, or any other accessory.

I must say, I never was much for confomity (at least in this regard)! 😌
Cheers...Donna 😊

Donna, Ask Andrew and Malc how old they are and then check that against Amy's age. Its a simple formula from which you can then calculate who's got the correct fashion sense.

I'm conjuring up visions of Andrew donning his flares! Another nice one Donna although I prefer the previous shot!
