Me too! Great image.

is the sky colouration in part due to the ND grad?

Likewise.
A wonderful moment in time capture. Breaks in the cloud like that are fleeting.

A marvellously dramatic shot, David. That break in the sky is terrific.
Best wishes,

Andrew

Hi Andy, no the sky was exactly this colour as I was standing there marvelling at the light. The only thing the ND Grad has done is to help me to balance the light between sky and ground.

That must have looked pretty amazing - and good to hear that the ND grad was not a contributory factor (as they sometimes can be!)

Wonderful energy and drama in this scene that beckons one to the high places. The slither of light gives a glimmer of optimism to juxtapose a sky of omnipotent mood. Excellent work
