Lol...i'm not sure i'd have used the word "accosting" Giulio...maybe "attracting" ?

You're right about the fashion thing though...was very fashionable in its early days in France and Italy.

Well attracting as "recall"or "charm"you mean I suppose....but I meant to "tow"(it is an italian slang...."Rimorchiare"or "Abbordare(to accost)"....Example: while driving MINI you meet a nice girl...and the MINI is the "mean" to "approach"....to start "chatting"with that girl....or viceversa(girl is driving boy is walking)....in special way during summer holidays
PS I hope not to offend anyone....and I'm talking about everyday peoples and not "hookers"!!!!

Well I mean that a MINI was the right car for the "STRUSCIO" another italian slang...I don't know an English word for "struscio"anyway if you shall come to Italy words above could be useful for you.???

Ah...right...I know now what you mean! 'Lost in translation' as they say

You do have some interesting words in Italian as you say...hopefully I will make it to Italy one day...my other half has been before and wants to go back!

Ciao,

Carlo
