Out for a paddle

I hesitated before committing the following to the site: a promising POV would, IMO, be the starting point of a much stronger portrait if you crop it in closer at a 1-1 aspect, ie square format; removed the five little white smudges, upped the white components considerably, and added a touch more contrast.

I say I hesitated because who the hell am I to offer un-asked for advice?

I'll post an edited version tomorrow...would post it now but can only post one per day.
