A passing storm ,I was bathed in sunshine but the sky around me was black...Corsenside Church in Northumberland. Taken with the trusty IstDS and my 16/45

Lovely, lovely lighting. Great balance of the church with the rest of the horizon. Excellent textures and colours.

The wall on the front is a bit too imposing for my tastes. It's one thing to have foreground interest, it's another to have to visually climb over it to see the picture beyond. I'd have left the wall out and used the gravestones to provide the foreground.

Just my opinion, no more or less valid than yours, feel free to disagree.

Partly agree with Duncan about the wall, but I'd still leave it in. You just needed to stand on tip toes to give some space in the centre and make the wall less dominating.
I like the rays bursting through the clouds. Good contrast too.

I like the moody sky and light in this The wall does not bother me as it has textures.

This is a really cool shot, I like the wall also the colours are super. I'd be proud of it if it were mine. Super.
