Light At The End Of The Tunnel

by Fletcher8

Thought I would try some more architecture, just wish i had a wider lens to capture more. Looks better larger if you click on the photo.

Still looks good to me, Fletcher.

Superb composition, with an excellent tonal range and definition - well taken.

Excellent photo. Love the detail and colours. Do you think a wider lens may have changed the commanding symmetry?

Cheers,
Stephen
I gladly welcome C & C's. Being foggy minded they really help me learn.

I have a picture from a similar point which I did in B&W. I cloned out the lights at the bottom of the columns.

I have my monitor set quite dark for printing to www.loxley.com and I found this image quite dark.

On the wide angle lens front, I stiched together a couple of shots to get everything in. I can recommend http://hugin.sourceforge.net/ which is free and very good for stitching panoramas or creating wide angle views.

What, no shops? Would be nice to see a ghostly figure disappearing behind one of the distant columns! However, what is that behind the first column? The more I look at it the more distracting it becomes.
Atmospheric shot though.
Paul.
