I really like the look and feel of this one, but I would also like to see an alternative with the trees on the left and right lifted a touch to show a bit more detail.

Best viewed large.

I agree with Phil. Several shots with increasing (or decreasing) exposures would have helped to pick out a bit more detail. I know modern cameras bracket exposures but it's easier to do it by hand!

That absolute 'nit pick' said, it's a lovely result and well worth getting cold for.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
