What's that coming over the hill?...

Photo Information
Is it a monster, is it a monster?*

No! Just a sleepy bumblebee. So sleepy, in fact, that it was quite content to wait whilst I got up close with a reverse-mounted EL-Nikkor 55mm f/2.8 enlarger lens mounted on a bellows unit with 40mm extension attached to a Samsung GX-10.

Hand-held and natural light at f/8.0 and 800ASA.

Still coming to terms with the limited DOF at magnification ratios in excess of 1:1 and the fact that Nikkor lens used performs best at f/5.6.

You've done a great job, my friend. I like the nice colours and the great details. This is an effective macro shot.
