Almost unreal

The level of detail of this amazing craftman's art and the (yes I agree ) intense processing of the picture makes it kind of unreal - looks a bit like in a modern video game. But actually it is closer too reality then it looks like.
When looking at the bigger version it is even more dramatic

Stunning detail Axel! Very nice indeed. My only quibble is that bright spot in the top right is a bit distracting.

yep - I agree - it is not nice this sunlight spot. Instead of cropping the whole pic, it might be nicer to remove the light reflex by cloning the remaing structure from the left. This would keep the pictures proportion a bit better.

I didn't noticed the bright spot at the top right corner until I read Tim's comment. Because my attention was fully tied down by the various shapes and the many details of the capital. Well done.
