Teignmouth backwater at dusk

by AuraTodd

I often sit here to watch the sun set in the evenings when I visit Teignmouth in Devon. It's very peaceful with the boats coming in and out.

Don't know who the young lady is, just wandered into the shot. I thought I would leave it as it is. Can you tell me if this is worth printing please? Thanks for looking

IMO it's a bit 'busy'. I would crop it before printing, removing some from the right until the tall structure is just a thin black line then from the bottom up to just below the rim of the boat. I would also take a bit off the left, just past the mast reflected in the water.

I think the girl makes the picture, good thing you left her in!

We all have different views, I would clone out the smoke. The only opinion that really matters is yours

Its lovely Louise, but Russ has some useful advice on the cloning. Make sure if you crop from the bottom, to keep the beautiful rim light of the boat. Unlike Malc I would keep the distant smoke.
