Even though I know it’s a public park water drinkIng source , from a time past , yet it somehow seems alien in the optical sense by its offset against the trees that line the scene.
Very Jules Verne and great separation and depth once studied. Very nice Tommyt

I wonder if the Victorians painted it similarly. As noted above, it really clashes with its environment - but that is what makes it such a successful image.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
