No 24

by sandinista

One of the many Grouse drinking troughs that are carved into the rock along Stanage Edge. This as the title suggests in No24. They are beautifully crafted with feeder grooves radiating out from the centre

Love this Jim, very moody yet good contrast with the colours. For me I would crop the foreground slightly to draw the eye more towards the trough, but that's just my opinion!

it's that impressive that it looks like a digital manipulation; .. but it isn't one of course, .. it is just a Jim Ennis photography

A typically powerful landscape, Jim.

Love this.

Explanation makes it clear what it is... but otherwise would look like a Goldsworthy style art installation
