Hi Andy, thank you, i put my own overlay on which was of rain, i flipped the picture of the rain vertically then overlaid this one on top of the other making for a slight criss cross pattern, i overlaid this on to the pic and rubbed some away in the foreground then a bit of tinting, hey presto and all done in PicMonkey as i don't have PS

Weirdly, about an hour ago Mrs Northgrain rushed up to show me a photo just posted on the Glossop facebook page, thinking it was just my kind of thing.

Well, how slightly weird that is, it's certainly a small world Tim, i joined this site expecting people from all quarters, never thinking anybody from Glossop would be on it, but isn't that nice

This is REALLY Spooky Maria, because I was just about to upload a very similar shot when I saw yours and felt I should hold it back for another day !
Anyhow, as everyone else has said, the effect works well on this one - good work
