Alf, Did you use HDR for this? This look a bit flat for my liking, could do with more contrast and using the full histogram. I reckons its worth a tweak as its a nice photo.

Hi Stuart - its not HDR. You are right; this posted version does look a bit flat. Not sure why it looks so different to what I thought I was exporting from the editing programme! Perhaps I'll take this down and re-post!

I will disagree. There is nothing 'flat' about it in my eyes. It's somewhat 'muted' but that, to me, makes this photo. Having looked at your other version this wins hands down. The contrast and the reflections are much more natural. The grey scale has a very 'classic' look to it. Simple and elegant.

Liked both versions. This one is most definitely not lacking in contrast.

Mag's glasses need updating! It certainly is lacking a little lustre but it's worth working on as it's a lovely shot!
