Top of Glen Coe

by Taynuiltpixels

A lot of PP on this - I am pleased with the token gesture of mans impact on the environment, via the single track road, seemingly diminished and insignificant.

A wonderfully dramatic scene, beautifully rendered. I'm sure that, years ago, we would have spent just as long dodging and burning in the darkroom to achieve such an effect. I have heard rumours that some still do...
Best wishes,

Andrew

I do like the stack between light and shadow or B&W. Good work

Terrific mono image. What a magnificent B+W print this would make. The light is fantastic.
You say this is the top of Glen Coe, but isn't it the ridge of Creise, Stob a'Glais Choire and Sron Na Creise? If so this would be the last mountain in the range known as the Black Mount to the west of Rannoch Moor. More accurate to class this as Glen Etive.
But a superb landscape photo.

Very fine photograph. That clear cut contrast is mesmerising. Such lovely detail in the mountain side. The bottom half has that little treasure of the road too.
