Mary is right...but I prefer motor bike!!! It's a rave for my eyes...It looks like the one owned by Lawrence of Arabia...but I feel I'm wrong!!!

Now that is what you call a proper bike, I want one.

A bit newer than T.E.Lawrence's Brough Superior, Giulio. Of course, you know that he died after crashing it in Dorset...

I know you love Ducatis, Moto Morinis and M.V.Augustas but we have our, albeit less exotic, beloved marques as well.

My particular fantasy bike is a Velocette Venom of 1950s vintage but Mrs C has expressly forbidden me ever to ride another motorcycle. She says I can't even stay upright on a push-bike. And she i,s of course, as ever, right.
Best wishes,

Andrew

Nice work once again Andrew, what cc was the Enfield in the picture. I took a picture of a Velocette whilst on holiday in Poole recently so Ill upload it for you to have a look at. My favorite bike was the B S A 500 Gold Star, never did get one had to settle for a Honda CX 500 instead.

Superb period feel to this image, a real delight to view. Optio-tastic

Nice shot Andrew

I can't stay on motorcycles either - I decided to stay with cars as I couldn't fall off them but then one night a combination of a mkII Capri, too much beer, a camp site and some bonnet surfing meant that I have also fallen off a car - many years ago though

I'm pretty sure it ws a 500cc twin, John. A Goldstar with polished tank was another of my weaknesses...
But Stuey falling off a car...that takes some beating!
Best wishes,

Andrew
