Growth Reflected

Photo Information
Thanks to Shaun Wilson (Puma) for pointing out this tree that had a huge branch growing down towards the water. This one was taken at an angle to accentuate the reflections of the branches in the still lake and give the impression that they were growing down to and up from the water. Colours have been de-saturated to make this almost mono and focus the atention on the structures and shapes.

Excellent David, really unusual and dramatic angle, and If I hadn't read your explanation I would have thought this was taken vertically looking up to the sky. I see you're enjoying the 16-45
