Well what's not clear is that I'm up a ladder to get the angle I wanted for this shot

Drilled a small hole in the top of my perfectly good ladder and inserted a 1/4" bolt through it. Then mounted a ball head on that and headed out when it got dark. Looking like a complete loony I'm balancing up a ladder in the middle of the road island, holding as still as I can for a 25 second exposure, and timing it in the hope that some decent traffic is going to head past!

I've said it before, but honestly I admire and appreciate shots where the photographer has clearly gone out of the norm/the comfort zone to get a shot. Be that up very early or very late, or down close to the water, or up high into the hills etc. Anywhere off the beaten path gets an extra point for effort from me
